Dear COSMONAUTS,
the count-down towards the fourth edition of our meeting in the “cosmo” has started: it remains in fact more or less 40 days to the 6th of October. True to our free space and autarchic vocation we have worked hard to coordinate the launch in order to guarantee a major success in our undertaking.
To your information we have moved our launching base about 20 kilometers from Tuscania to CAPRAROLA (as to say from Beverly Hills to Huston , or more correct from Novosibirsk to Vladivostok) remaining in the area of Viterbo. Though, in a place more functional and less dispersive: we will have a bit smaller theatre, but nonetheless a room for training and demonstrations/performance of more than 300 m2. On one side of this room it opens up to a garden – terrace, illuminated in the evening, from where a tracking course starts into a forest of nuts and chestnuts.
The accomodations of the cosmonauts are all upstairs: there are 12 rooms with two/three beds, each with privat bathroom and shower, panoramic view (or better, a planetary one). In the same building we will be served two meals a day prepared by the always likeable and pleasant cosmochef Giulio.
The whole structure, the stable connected to the Farnese Palace – Fort (an old and powerful roman family, http://www.caprarola.com/palazzo_farnese.htm ), is an artistic site that belongs to the local authority of Caprarola. AS AN EXCHANGE FOR THE FREE USE OF THE TRAINING SPACE AND THEATRE, for accomodation included the two daily meals the municipality ask from us 24,00 Euro a day for each cosmonaut.
Concidering the star treatment, we think it is a convenient price for sleeping in private rooms with full pension. Most of all we have, at a good price, the advantage of living in places near to each other, free to eat as many times a day without having to prepare and to go and get the food, collecting money, and with a efficient kitchen service.
In the next days we will send you information on how to arrive in Caprarola, which is about an hour and half from Rome by car, bus or train.
The period is confirmed to be from the 6th to the 11th of October and accomodation is possible allready from the 5th and also the 11th of October.

P.S.: The landings are all to be realised in the fresh waters of the lake Vico nearby : the launches this year will actually be "boomerangs"....each and one of you are free to interpret as you wish … of the cosmonaut projected into the future of course.

10:00-11:30 Earth - training (1): to try out various methods that prepares body and mind for the theatrical work, for directors, actors, dancers (on reservation only), open to public.
11:45-12:45 Earth - training (2) or open rehearsals
13:00-14:00 Lunch
(14-15 technical rehearsal)
15:00-16:30 Sun – firing of questions regarding the previous presented works, open to public (16:30-18:00 preparations + technical rehearsals)
18:00-19:30 Jupiter (1) – shows, open to public
20:00-21:00 Dinner
21:30-24:00 Jupiter (2) – shows, open to public
Welcome to send propositions for work to present:
- training, - max 1h.30min
- open rehearsal in form of schetch, etude, improvisation, work in progress, etc. - max 50 minutes
Please send also:
- short description of your work with the minimum tecnical requierments (keep it simple)
- short CV and foto (even though you have sent it for earlier editions!)
- info on when you plan to arrive and leave
